Now DC has a long complicated history of (two) reboots, and retcons. One of the only times things weren't retconned as much were the Green Lanterns. The DC movies could really use the Green Lanterns right now, hopefully without blowing their budgets on CG costumes. In this case, it's making sense of DC's Earth.
