So Bad Idea released it’s first public release in a long time! I’ll put that there as well as Mad Cave
Bad Idea
Planet Death #0: One of the only indie…alternative?…Non-legacy publishers to sell close to a million copies in years! And it’s not hard to see why. It opens with a huge atmosphere that sets up this series’ tone, a big sense of momentum and anticipation. All with spectacle and pace working in unison. 8.5/10
Mad Cave
The Slasher’s Apprentice #3: Keeps up with the voyeurism angle with tightly woven actions you can’t look away from. 10/10
Buried Long, Long Ago #3: Terror and parallels abound! Each page brings out context, suspense, and utter dread! 9/10
Speed Racer #1: What a way to open an old classic! All the best characterizations with some new complements, the pace and speed of the action, and a way to ground an arc without taking away the fantastic. 10/10
