Looks like it’s finally time to make some big pushes.
Space Ghost
Space Ghost #12: A classic way to end a boss rush, juxtaposed with character dynamics. 8.5/10
Mad Cave
Infini-T Force Vol. 1: You read that right. One more Tatsunoko property under Mad Cave. By Proxy. This one will be just right for any layman to get into. Each hero has enough distinct personalities, even if they don’t seem to be very layered. Plus the viewpoint character has her own views, flaws, and interests. All without going into Easter Eggs or big deep dives into the lore of each franchise. Instead it focuses on delivering a good pace of presentation by staying in the moment. 8/10
Pop Kill #3: Real fun way to look at how contagious and dumb feuds can be. All while giving memorable characterizations to side people without overstaying their welcome. 9/10
Galaxy of Madness #9: Very unusual, but centered on an emotional core with some big implications. 8.5/10
Far Down Below #2: Some nice family moments that will push the limits of those bonds. Complements the feeling of exploration and getting lost in discoveries. 8.5/10
Nostalgia: The first of the Comixology Originals coming over. Sets a really good melancholic tone of feeling lost and confused with a prose-like writing that sets the viewpoint narrators’ personality. As well as the effect of music shared through fantastic presentation of page segments. Not to mention how music and its creation manipulate memory. Made me think of at least two songs to fit the mood. 8.5/10
Spectrum: Speaking of making music, this is probably the full scope of the experience of it all. Not just hearing songs in visual spectacle to overcome limitations, but the very act of their creation. It’s almost like going through time and experiencing anything through new sensations. Including how their effects can do both good and bad. 9.5/10
I was actually excited to see somebody do a comic review for once. But then it's just like a bunch of one liners. Come on man! That's really disappointing. Review the comics.
