So change of plans. I’m actually going to make my first Nottingham post into something else entirely. So while I shave off some posts (eventually) I’m going to put Volume 3’s review on here. As for why this is happening now, you can thank Flash Gordon Quarterly.
Nottingham Vol. 3: The culmination of (just about) everything from before. From tense changing allegiances, morality vs motivations, aspirational legends vs grimdark history. It all gives you a perspective that will never leave readers mind. Problem is, it’s a bit dependent on reading everything that came before to fully appreciate unlike the last album. 8.5/10
Flash Gordon Quarterly #1: A fine tribute to the pulp era Flash Gordon appeared in. Each are accessible for new and old audiences whether that be Westerns, hard boiled detectives, or my personal favorite showing off King Vultan I and Talon with a solid dynamic. 8/10
I’m going Mad with everything coming out of this Cave.
