So only one release this week from Mad Cave:
Scoop Vol. 3: Loving every entry into this series. Lively characterizations and compelling character dynamics, big swings in developments, and a twist ending that leaves you begging for more. 9.5/10
Meanwhile the advances:
The Pale Knight #1: Peter Milligan, I’ve covered this guy several times. One thing I’ve always admired is how theatrical his stuff feels. The kind of stuff that makes you experience the moment where characters actually talk, especially with and against narrations. Plus with Val Rodrigues setting the stages, the progression is all the better. 8.5/10
The Hexiles: Stylish, very creative when it comes to its central themes. No, not daddy issues meet Faustian bargains. I mean encouraging out of the box thinking in presentation to show the otherworldly effects of demons. Even if the pace starts a little slow. 8/10
God Tier Vol. 1: This is okay. The pace’s momentum is steady and never boring. But the characters and dynamics with the setting were 2 dimensional, the commentary is shallow, and the art is pretty basic in presentation. 6.5/10
