I got the release schedule down now! I think…
Galaxy of Madness #7: Fun presentation, but feels like a bunch of multiversal distractions of the main story. 7.5/10
Missing on the Moon #3: Intriguing tensions and twists…around the central theme of how identities are built on story. 8/10
Exit City #4: Ends one arc with decent presentation, characterization, and structure. Preps for a crossover. 8/10
Sunder Tome 1: Like something right out of a classic epic Bande Dessinee. All of the sense of movement, down-to-earth characterizations, simple-vibrant settings, rising tensions in the stakes, and appropriate humor. 9/10
Whatever Happened to Crimson Justice #1: A decent look into the effect of classic heroes like Batman. Or at least, how a lack of them leads to moral decay. 8/10
Gridley: First Blood
From Sid Quade and Funcertainty Box comes the latest issue of a TTRPG inspired Weird Western. Ever wonder what it’s like to leave your home of outcasts because you’ve contracted a deadly disease? Or having just the right skillset to make a new one only to be at risk of losing it? If that all sounds like the only way forward is to give it all up, will it be worth it? Especially when you’re already losing whoever you are.
That is Gridley First Blood. Check out the full review on Gutternaut as the preview link changes to the full one.
