Hexiles #4: Well presented in terms of atmosphere and tension, a bit slow in pace. 7/10…
The Body Trade…I almost couldn’t do this one. Stuff like what happened in these pages happen in small but as emotionally weighty events. This felt like everything I went through in those times to extremes. People who feel their status is threatened after all the time and effort they put in. But when they all see the red flags, they don’t want to deal with the things that annoy them. Especially if they disrupt those efforts and they get blamed for everything going wrong. The structure and outbursts that come from all of these feel totally on point. But that’s also why it got so hard for me to read through all of this. So yeah…9/10…but I don’t feel like going through any of this again as much as other people would.
