Funny how many times I get caught up with titles when I’ve read ahead. Plus now I have a handle on advanced releases from my emails.
Galaxy of Madness Vol. 1: What do you get when you combine the lively motley space crews of Firefly, the sense of exploration in Star Trek, and Cosmic Horror’s insignificance? An ever engaging, always questioning, ever suspenseful space epic. Where characters and their ties get ever more intense. 9/10
Pantomime: Oddly enough this was a straight Mad Cave title, but I guess the Maverick label is better for it. I mean coming-of-age, intense organic changes in character dynamics, making the heist plays even more engrossing. And a decent presentation in signing for a comic book. 9/10
Mugshots #4: Wraps up satisfyingly. Characters finish their arcs the only way they could end. As messy and as human as payoffs can get. 8.5/10
