A lot of people might be familiar with how some genre where an everyman made of cardboard manages to attract a lot of girls towards him. Japan has the safe but manageable Harem that often got so ridiculous, the girls either had to be monsters or be in some fantasy world to make it believable.
But in South Korea, a few webtoons decided to go even further and keep it from getting too ridiculous… Most of the time.
The Lust genre got pretty popular, with some titles having more longevity compared to other ones they were competing with on the same platform. Not just because of people getting down on each other, but there’s a greater sense of character development… Mostly. I’ll explain why.
Especially since where I could find these Lust webtoons are usually pay-for-models and just going through trashy sex scenes can give a: why did I just waste part of my life with this vibe.
Also because I’d rather not get people complaining up and down I’m gonna have to put some stuff behind a paywall.
