Six posts in the month; along with the half of review requests, I finally managed to put out content I like to blab about. So for reviews we have:
And in Gutternaut content we have:
The Genius of Doom Force
Why Warren Ellis’ Hellstorm is great but never got the recognition it deserved
With my departure from MFR I’ll now have more content to focus on than read through pages for tweets. But for content coming up on Gutternaut, first on the list is a review of Archer & Armstrong from Valiant Entertainment. Then between Mad Cave and Valiant, I’ll be doing a lot of titles they’ve sent my way, were going to show up on MFR but will take up so much of my time… Oh god I need me time!
I’ll be playing on my PS5 with games like Astro’s Playroom and Returnal, provided I can find a position that won’t make me hunch over. As for my reading, I’m comfortable saying that I’ll be reading the Planetary omnibus I bought from a secondary source at home. But on my phone, I’ll be reading Marvel’s Warhammer 40,000: Marneus Calgar and New Mutants: Back to School. It’ll probably make up content for a Kieron Gillen post at least. Also there’s a good chance I’ll be adding two titles to the Underrated DC Comics list: One-Star Squardon and World of Krypton.
Which reminds me of a post: talking about how cartooning in mainstream comics is unappreciated unless it’s pin-up shots or for comedic effect. You will be avenged Michael Avon Oeming and Javier Pulido!
With all of that in mind, hopefully I’ll see you all soon.
